Thanks for your replay,
I have checked your issue in latest trunk as you given your  steps in comment #2. And I have faced same problem with access rights . I got this error : 
Access Denied
Sorry, you are not allowed to modify this document. Only users with the following access level are currently allowed to do that:
- Human Resources/Employee
(Document model: mail.group)

So, I am confirming this issue.
