I have check your issue with the latest trunk on revision 
server (4523)
addons (7904)
web (3336)
but  it is not  reproduce in latest trunk , i have check it with demo and without demo data for more reference i attached a video.

I request a community team to take  a look at this and take a
appropriate decision on this.

  [Trunk] : Uncaught Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression:

Status in OpenERP Server:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  OpenERP  7.0(trunk) Server, Addons, Web_Client = last version of today

  Install a fresh DB with German Translation.

  After completion of installation  comes this error.

  Without the German Translation - it works.
