[Bug 1079223] Re: Search not working
Amit,
Many thanks for that information.
The advanced search is indeed useful. It also works on the data in the
Orderlines too :-)

Title:
Search not working
Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):
Incomplete
Bug description:
Using the current trunk for testing with the default demo data.
Edit one of the Quotations and add a "good" word to the Source
Document field.
Save and go back to the list view.
Go to the search box and type your "good" word. (I used Bazooka FWIW).
The search fails to find the Quotation.
Note a name or reference of a product in one the quotes, e.g. [LAP-
CUS] Laptop Customized.
Go to the search box and type "LAP" or "Laptop" the search fails to
find *any* quotes.
The Search tool is still *far* too narrow in its scope. We have
customers that cannot believe they can't search for random stuff
across the whole record set.
And are also annoyed they they have no "global search" facility but
that is different limitation...
