IMHO the correct answer to this type of bugs (where I'm totallly agreed
with your answer) should be redirected to the new community management
guidelines of projects.

It means as an example:

This module does not belong to an addon of this project you can refer to
community documetation[1]  to be sure what is the correct one and change
to the right project.

  When creating a sale order from opportunity, when the client has got a salesagent, the sale order is created without the sale commission infos.
  The patch is below, file sale_order.py, rows 90-104
