Hello Christophe,

I have checked your issue with existing DB , But I didn't face any
problem with while installing Document Management module. So, Currently
I am closing this issue but If  you will face  any problem then you can
reopen this issue.

  Trunk Cannot install document management on existing DB

Bug description:
  trying to install the document management module:

  The operation cannot be completed, probably due to the following:
  - deletion: you may be trying to delete a record while other records still reference it
  - creation/update: a mandatory field is not correctly set
