Hello,

Kanban is not a waste of time, on tasks I get per screen:
  - 30 records in kanban views (with more information per record)
  - 18 records in list view

On contacts, there are barely the same number of records in list and in
kanban, but the kanban views shows more information that are usefull to
quickly identify a customer. (like tags: have an invoice or meeting)


If you want to change this, you should implement this in a community module (which is just 3 lines in XML, to change the view mode on the action).
