Hello,

If you want to use multi_company without project then you can easily
customized it because on multi_company module doesn't have .py file. It
has one demo file and view file. So remove the project's dependacy under
multi-company and manage the view file accordingly (you have to just
remove the project.project and project.task 's record ).

We are give a generic module not as per the user requirement, If we will provide the multi_company_project for project then we should be create a list of module.
i.e multi_company_sale
multi_company_account etc...

Which is not better, So we are not consider this as a bug. You can
customizad at your end.

  currently multi_company depends on project. multi_company feature
  should be independant of project feature.
