Just while I remember...

Presumably if you change this number to only show "proper" sales orders
then it should also affect the tree view filter list when you click on
the number of sales...

Bug description:
  Current Trunk.

  The Kanban view of Sales->Customers shows a very helpful "x Sales"
  next to the Customer icon.

  However this number is including *cancelled* sales orders which is
  probably not very useful.
