Actually, this is not a bug. Stages are defined by salesteam. If there
is no salesteam, the only available stage is new. When creating a new
opportunity, no salesteam is assigned by default, hence the only stage
too.

If you did encounter this problem with a salesteam defined, please send
a screenshot as this would be a bug.

  [CRM] Opportunities form view: only "new" stage appears in status bar

Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  1. Go to Sales => Opportunities
  2. Create a new opportunity or open an existing one in "new" stage
  3. in the status bar, only the "new" stage is visible (if you open an opportunity from kanban that is in another stage, all stages are visible)
