[Bug 1095708] Re: crm_lead campaign field not visible in 7.0

Khushboo, thanks for the response. I have investigated further and have
decided to make this bug new again. You are right that the campaign can
be set on the page as per your screenshot, however in order to get this
you have to install the marketing_campaign module. This module provides
its own campaign process that is managed under the Marketing section.
Campaigns here are defined in Marketing -> Campaigns. The drop down that
is provided in the Leads and Opportunities sections is populated from
the campaigns defined in Sales -> Leads & Opporunities -> Campaigns
which is separate. The Campaigns under Sales is present without the
marketing_campaign module installed, however the ability to set the
campaign is only provided when the module is installed. This differs
from OpenERP 6.1 which had a Categorization section in Leads &
Opporunities to allow this to be set without the marketing_campaign
module installed.

To reproduce this issue create an install using the demo data without
the marketing_campaign module installed. You will then not have the
Marketing section in Leads & Opportunities and will not be able to set
the campaign as defined in the Sales section. I hope you can follow
this, it is difficult to distinguish between the two types of campaign
available! It would appear that the code for the Sales Campaigns drop
down has been moved from a categorization section in one module to the
marketing_campaign module, which separates it from the code that
populates the database with the campaigns used in this section.

Title:
crm_lead campaign field not visible in 7.0

Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):
  New

Bug description:
In OpenERP 7.0 on the extra info tab for a sales lead there is no way
to set or view the assigned campaign. The campaigns can be created
using Sales -> Leads & Opportunities -> Campaigns, and the demo data
has campain fields set (this can be confirmed by grouping leads by
campaign using the test data). There, however, no way to set the
campaign itself. Note this is separate from the Marketing Campaigns
modules and not related. This feature is found in this location on
both 6.0 and 6.1 (altough the option to create the campaigns is in a
slightly different location in each of these versions).
