Message #22369
[Bug 1107085] Re: [trunk/7.0] With project_long_term, can schedule phases of projects without phases
Hello Damián and Twinkle,
Let me clear something here.
We can schedule single project also which don't have phases. Here this
is the warning message not the bug which shows that we have to member on
that project. What actually Scheduling is doing it calculate the time
duration based on members and write the end date and other information,
So for working time calculation we have to assign the member on
projects. If we don't assign the members on it then it will raise this
kind of warning message which is fine.
@Damián
We can schedule a project also which don't have phases. Please try the following step.
*Create a project which don't have phases. Create a one task for that and assign the planned hour.
* Add the member on project.
* Schedule a project and see the end date which will calculated based on the planned hour and working time of the user(Project member).
So all works well and its not more then question, So I am converting
this into questions.
Hope this help.
Thank you!

Title:
[trunk/7.0] With project_long_term, can schedule phases of projects
without phases
Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):
Invalid
Bug description:
In OpenERP 7.0.
1) Install the module project_long_term.
2) Go to "Project / Project / Projects".
3) Create a new project named "Pr001" with the "Phases" checkbox unselected.
4) Click the "Project / Scheduling / Schedule Phases" menu item.
5) In "Action" select "Compute a Single Project"
6) In "Project" the project "Pr001" can be selected, even thought the project does not use phases.
A solution would be to filter out all the projects that do not use
phases.
