Such a nice question.

I have also seen this type of things on project only, As we have a all
links on project kanban like tasks, phases and issues.

So If someone wants to open a task then he will able to click tasks link
and task will be opened. Other kanban works like when I clicks on it
then its open the objects page view.

Finally as per my "Opinion", It will also open the projects page view
instead of tasks kanban.

Currently I am confirming this issue as a usability point of view.

Bug description:
  Whenever I am trying to edit the project from kanban view, currently this is not possible.
  Because when I am clicking on it then it will open the task kanban instead of project form view.

  There should be one option which support to edit the project form
  kanban view.
