Message #24163
[Bug 1204608] Re: [Trunk/7.0] attachments with special signs appear as '=-ISO-8859-2'
** Description changed:
Whenever an incoming e-mail is fetched, with a special sign in it's name
(ąęźżół etc. - these are rather common in attachments coming to my
instalation), its name is being converted to something like
'=-ISO-8859-2-B-ocrKrKysxsbGxq+vrw==-=%0D%0A%09=-ISO-8859-2-B-ry5odG0=-='.
Checked on several attachments, couldn't find anything to fix this -
logs do not give any clue for the answer - everything looks like it's
processed properly. Screen attached, let me know if any workaround for
this problem is available.
Note - same with special German chars (such as ß and so on) or French
(â, ê, î, ô, û) - mails are sent from Gmail or our company server.
+
+ Note 2 - when using Mozilla Thunderbird under Ubuntu 12.04 and sending
+ through this client, it works well - using Thunderbird to send mail with
+ Windows works also. With Gmail webmail it doesn't, as well as with
+ Outlook - with coding UTF-8 mail comes as winmail.dat
