Hello,

Once you confirm the invoice that means that you get an approval from
the customer then you confirmed the invoice , So then after you can't
edit the invoice which is generic behavior. This is not a bug but its
behavior.

About your 2nd point regarding for the reconciliation its working fine
with latest trunk and stable7, I have attached the video for your more
reference. So would you please check it and let you know have you still
faced the problem or not.

Title:
  cannot edit a customer invoice in open state

Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Cannot make payments to any customer invoice in open state. Cannot
  edit the invoice lines tab or payments tab. If I pay through register
  payments button, action not reflected in invoice i.e no reconciliation
  between payment and invoice.
