I checked again.
It is working fine when you create the PO manually.

In our case it comes from a Manufacturing Order.

I attached some pictures.

Title:
  Merge Purchase Orders with the same product does not work correctly

Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  When i use the "Merge Purchase orders" function in Quotations to merge
  two quotations with the same product the result is a PO with two
  positions. (Two same products)

  I suppose only one position with quantity 2 in the new "merged" PO.
