[Bug 1280703] Re: In Advanced Search, there's no way to search both active and inactive products
I think you can do it simply adding a condition in the advanced search:
- Unfold Advanced Search
- Put Active is False.
- Click on 'Add a condition'.
- Put Active is True.
- Click on 'Apply'
Regards.

Title:
In Advanced Search, there's no way to search both active and inactive
products
Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):
Invalid
Bug description:
When viewing a Product List, in the top right corner, in the search
box, in it's drop down menu, under Advanced Search, select criteria
Active, you can choose either "True" or "False", but sometimes you
need "Both". If you are searching for a product and you don't know
whether it is active or inactive, it forces you to perform the search
for both values. If there is more than one criteria with the same
situation or even with more than one possible value then the number of
searches required increases quickly.
Until the advanced search criterias are added to a search, the results
list ignores them. The one exception, that I know of, is the Product
Active True/False criteria. The default is Active=True.
In every case throughout OpenERP where the search box is present, if
the default search list is not the full list then whatever criteria is
in effect there must be a way in Advanced Search to turn it off in
order to get access to the full list. In the case of Product Active,
the option would be "Both" (Both True and False).
