Indeed if there was some issues previously with timezone, comparing dates and datetimes was not a good idea.

Bug description:
  Following revision introduced this bug

   http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~openerp/openobject-

  Tested on runbot:

  (Build 32783)
  server (5288)
  addons (10018)
  web (4181)

  Connect with admin, in hr settings activate attendancies for all
  employees.

  Then log out and log with demo user.

  Open the current timesheet. Create a attendance on the last day of the
  week. Save the timesheet.

  
  You will get User Error!

  You can not enter an attendance date outside the current timesheet
  dates.

  Expected result is to be able to save the timesheet.
