Marking this bug as invalid, since you have the option of installing
Sun's java from the Ubuntu multiverse repository (sun-java6-jdk, sun-
java6-jre).

Status in Source Package "openjdk-6" in Ubuntu: Invalid

Bug description:
Binary package hint: openjdk-6-jre

Ubuntu 8.04

When I use Java-applications such as Eclipse, Azureus etc etc I expect my programs to work like they do on every other platform I used them on including former releases of (K)Ubuntu.

What happens is that the programs are buggy, they crash and in some rare cases some of the functions don't work.

The solution, throw openjdk and icedtea out, and use Sun's working environment. To be honest I can't see why it can be in anyones favor to use a buggy environment.
