[hardy] IcedTea Java plugin fails to load Facebook image uploader applet

Status in Source Package "icedtea-gcjwebplugin" in Ubuntu: New
Bug description:
Binary package hint: icedtea-gcjwebplugin
With icedtea-gcjwebplugin installed (the default for Hardy), accessing the Facebook image upload page presents me with a grey box rather than the image upload applet. The status bar says that the applet failed to initialize.
If I uninstall icedtea-gcjwebplugin (I also uninstalled gcj completely) and install sun-java6-plugin then all is well and I can access the image uploader just fine.
I was using icedtea 1.0-0ubuntu6.
Steps to reproduce:
(1) Install hardy with the above package.
(2) Browse to the Facebook image upload page
(3) 100% of time, Applet doesn't load.
