[Bug 245545] Re: [hardy]Netbeans 6.1 cannot been installed under openjdk-6 package

I am pretty much sure that issue is caused by the bug in OpenJDK that prevents GlassFish from working on OpenJDK.
GlassFish V2 (both ur2 and ur1) is included in this NetBeans installer and it does not work in that distribution as well.

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openjdk-6/+bug/224455

I can confirm that GlassFish V2 UR2 does not work with OpenJDK 1.6.0-b09 but it works fine with 1.6.0_0-b11 (6b11-2ubuntu2).
The same for NetBeans Installer.

You received this bug notification because you are a member of OpenJDK,
which is subscribed to openjdk-6 in ubuntu.

Status in “netbeans” source package in Ubuntu: New
Status in “openjdk-6” source package in Ubuntu: Incomplete

Bug description:
With openjdk-6 package installed (jdk and jre) I didn't able to install Netbeans 6.1 IDE from original .sh installation file available in Netbeans website.
To install IDE I need to get sun java jdk.

If openjdk-6 fail in more programs maybe it must be removed from famous ubuntu-restricted-extras package.
