[Bug 292755] Re: [Intrepid amd64] openjdk-6 can't run www.goproblems.com correctly
Matthias, it might be time to hit the pillow...
Hint : check the Bug title ;) but joke aside it's indeed [Intrepid amd64] (i was using 32 bit Hardy on a previous computer before). Basically the one in Intrepid didn't show the applet during the alphas, I filed a bug and an update allowed it to load the applet (and use it a bit), but it's still not an equivalent to java on i386.
Anyways:
#dpkg -p openjdk-6-jre |grep Version
Version: 6b12-0ubuntu6

You received this bug notification because you are a member of OpenJDK,
which is subscribed to openjdk-6 in ubuntu.
Status in “openjdk-6” source package in Ubuntu: Incomplete
Bug description:
Using the openjdk-6 plugin in Firefox, www.goproblems.com applets don't display properly : horizontal top brown bar height is often too big, and then the bottom of the applet is cut - see first attached screenshot.
Moreover, when it display properly and the user solves a problem on one of the time trials, clicking the "Click for Next problem" leads to a page :
"Not Found
The requested URL /àhv was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."
To solve a problem if you don't know Go, choose a 30k or 25k trial (top right on the www.goproblems.com main page), then try to solve a problem. After you fail a few times, you can acccess "See solution" on the left. Reload the page, solve the problem as in the solution, and you can try the bug.
