[Bug 252472] Re: Java Web start does not work on Ubuntu 8.04 64 bit (Firefox and Konqueror)
The same bug persists with OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 1.6.0_0-b12, mixed mode).
I have ca-certificates-java installed.
I also tried it on different machine (also 64 bit with KDE) the same result.
Is there any other information I could provide?
Thanks for reminding me about this bug. I moved to interpid to test this
and one more another bug, but interpid come with KDE 4.1 and so many
bugs, that I forgot what I was going to test.

Bug description:
I was not able to use simple examples from java.sun.com. Latter on I tried few other examples, all failed. This is the same with Firefox 3.0.1 and Konqueror.
Starting from command line javaws brings certificate windows. I have no clue what to do with this.
I was able to open one sample application when starting
javaws -nosecurity -about
Two of the samples opened jDiskReport and jPathReport. Other trow an exception.
I am using:
Firefox 3.0.1
java version "1.6.0_06"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_06-b02)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 10.0-b22, mixed mode)
Ubuntu 8.04.1
KDE 3.5
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0-b09)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 1.6.0-b09, mixed mode)
