Pisces renderer crash while using VASSAL
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/364223
You received this bug notification because you are a member of OpenJDK,
which is subscribed to openjdk-6 in ubuntu.
Status in “openjdk-6” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: openjdk-6-jre
I encounter very frequent crashes while using the Vassal Engine, I have been told it is due to a bug in Ubuntu's OpenJDK build since it seems to work fine in other distributions.
The bug is very similar to this: http://mail.openjdk.java.net/pipermail/2d-dev/2008-October/000518.html
This is my java-version dump:
java version "1.6.0_0"
IcedTea6 1.3.1 (6b12-0ubuntu6.4) Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_0-b12)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 1.6.0_0-b12, mixed mode)
I am also attaching Vassal's error log that shipped as a bug report (and helped me find the OpenJDK bug)
I am using Ubuntu 8.10 amd64 architecture
