Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. Please answer these questions that will allow us to
correct the possible errors causing to your bug findings:

 * Is your installation on Karmic already?
 * Is it that you were upgrading that package or was it a first-time install?
 * Can you run in console sudo aptitude -f install and report the output here? 

If you know any shell scripting, the pre-install script is located in
/var/lib/dpkg/info/ca-certificates-java.postinst. You can also take a
look at it there. But it will be useful to get the findings here.

Personally, I installed the package and it worked for me. So, I will
mark the bug invalid until you fill up the questions.
