Can you try it again. This time, start firefox from a terminal as
follows:

ICEDTEAPLUGIN_DEBUG=true firefox

and then attach the resulting logs.  They are either:

/tmp/java.stderr and /tmp/java.stdout
OR
~/.icedteaplugin/java.stderr and ~/.icedteaplugin/java.stdout

Please also scan the files before attaching to make sure there is no personal
info in the logs.

My mentor referred me to the Mozilla team's head Triager who said he
would start looking upstream for more information.  He could not give me
a date/time when he would get back to me but I trust him to get us some
more information when he can.   I have been annoying him with questions
about your bug for a couple of days now.  :-)

Bug description:

when java app is run, icetea asks for authentication for the app,

icedtea constantly asks for a password even though you type it in correctly, on the 4th try , firefox completely closes attached is gdb
