confirm NOT working especially for application JDownloader 09.909
system: ubu 10.04 beta1 X64
oskar@dahoam:~$ java -version
java version "1.6.0_18"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.8pre) (6b18~pre3-0ubuntu1)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 16.0-b13, mixed mode)

fonts are unreadable, works if sun-java is installed , if standalone openjdk is installed , the fonts are reaped.

You received this bug notification because you are a member of OpenJDK,

Status in “openjdk-6” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete

Bug description:
Description:	Ubuntu lucid (development branch)
Release:	10.04
java version "1.6.0_17"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.7) (6b17-1.7-1ubuntu1)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 14.0-b16, mixed mode)

Fonts are massively distorted (see screenshot). Too high and too thin, practically unreadable. Since there is no sun jre available in lucid I cannot verify this bug on other java systems. Application itself works fine with karmic and windows.
