[Bug 520515] Re: Fonts in Java application are distorted

I still have this problem with openjdk-6 6b18~pre5-0ubuntu1~ppa1 from
your PPA (screenshot attached).

Steps to reproduce: Install jdownloader (launcher script) from the PPA
[1] and start jdownloader. It will download jdownloader and launch it.

You received this bug notification because you are a member of OpenJDK,
which is subscribed to openjdk-6 in ubuntu.

Status in “openjdk-6” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete

Bug description:
Description:	Ubuntu lucid (development branch)
Release:	10.04
java version "1.6.0_17"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.7) (6b17-1.7-1ubuntu1)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 14.0-b16, mixed mode)

Fonts are massively distorted (see screenshot). Too high and too thin, practically unreadable. Since there is no sun jre available in lucid I cannot verify this bug on other java systems. Application itself works fine with karmic and windows.

Still affected: openjdk 6b18~pre4-1ubuntu1

TESTCASE: Install jdownloader and select a Synthetica theme
