[Bug 505777] Re: jvm fatal error while running maven

 

I was unable to reproduce this bug by installing maven and following the
"Maven in 5 Minutes" instructions here:

http://maven.apache.org/guides/getting-started/maven-in-five-
minutes.html

I also tried 'mvn compile' in the project directory with no problems.

Output of 'mvn -v'

Apache Maven 2.2.1 (rdebian-1)
Java version: 1.6.0_18
Java home: /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk/jre
Default locale: en_US, platform encoding: UTF-8
OS name: "linux" version: "2.6.32-21-generic" arch: "i386" Family: "unix"

I am on ubuntu 9.10 with openjdk installed from packages.
