this is a locally installed version of eclipse. please report the problem where you did download the package.
is this reproducible with the eclipse package distributed in Lucid?

Status in “eclipse” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete
Bug description:
This error also closes Aptana Studio ( which is based on Eclipse ), but they are different installations, so I'm assuming the problem it's not with my particular version of eclipse.
