However, this behaviour only occurs when working on battery power and not connected through LAN. When working in my office (docking station) everything works perfectly. The crash of eclipse happens unpredictably, even when not using it, after a few minutes. I first wil try to do a clean install of ubuntu 10.10 to see if the problem persists.
