[Bug 508175] Re: Can't copy from java applications

Still happens in Ubuntu 11.04 64bit, reproduced with Scilab 5.3. It is a
very annoying bug, as copying to clipboard is a very basic operation.

Title:
  Can't copy from java applications

Status in “openjdk-6” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
With my java applications, NetBeans and SquirrelSQL, I can't copy text from the application to any other external application (e.g. terminal, gedit).
I can do the reverse operation though - e.g. copy text from the terminal to squirrel sql.

I can (unfortunately) reproduce it everytime - in fact, I can't copy
any text from the Java applications.
