[Bug 829017] Re: JDK 7 in Ubuntu?

Thanks is just not enough to express my gratitude. Didn't find it in
11.04 but there are just two more months until 11.10. Which is just
awesome. Keep up the good work guys.

Title:
  JDK 7 in Ubuntu?

Status in “openjdk-7” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
I'm an avid Java developer. And rely on the simplicity of Ubuntu +
Eclipse + JDK (openjdk-6) for my main environment. A few days ago, JDK
7 was released. How much would it take to see openjdk-7 as part of the
official repository? I don't want to manually install it. I prefer it
got updated through the Ubuntu's own update manager.
