Title:
fatal error after setting up JUnit testing in Eclipse

Status in “openjdk-6” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
I am trying to learn how to run JUnit testing in Eclipse and following
some instructions on how to set it up. I selected Run As / Junit Test
and selected the Eclipse option (vs the Android option) (sorry, i dont
recall the details) then I was welcomed with the following message:

  #
  # A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment:
  #
  # Internal Error (classFileParser.cpp:3494), pid=19988, tid=140207384463104
  #  Error: ShouldNotReachHere()
  #
  # JRE version: 6.0_22-b22
  # Java VM: OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (20.0-b11 mixed mode linux-amd64 compressed oops)
  # Derivative: IcedTea6 1.10.2
  # Distribution: Ubuntu 11.04, package 6b22-1.10.2-0ubuntu1~11.04.1

as a possibly related topic - I also have very frequent crashed with
LibreOffice (to the point where it is unusable...) and after some
online investigation others with similar crashes claim that this may
be due to problems with the JRE. Dont know if that might help in some
  way...
