Title:
Chrome reports Icedtea needs a critical security patch
Status in “openjdk-6” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Attempt to use a java applet in Chrome gives a banner "The IcedTea
plug-in was blocked because it was out of date" with options to "run
this time" or to "update plug-in". Clicking on "update plug-in" takes
one to http://www.linuxsecurity.com/content/section/3/170/ which is
not very informative.
