Title:
  Eclipse crashes after leaving welcome screen on freshly created
  workspace

Status in “openjdk-6” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  After starting Eclipse for the first time, you have to select/create
  workspace. When creating new workspace, you land on on "welocome page"
  in eclispe. When I try to close welcome page, eclispe crashes with:

  Next run of eclipse is ok (it bypasses welcome page and lands directly
  on workbench).
