Dear Maintainer,

I would like to be able to run a Java app with a capability flag for
binding to a privileged port (<1024).  Currently this doesn't work,
because executables with capabilities can't use

This is a known bug:

There is a workaround, running patchelf to remove $ORIGIN from rpath,
although I haven't been able to try it as I don't think Debian includes
patchelf.

Now that we're not relying on Sun's packaging, I think we can fix this issue.
