[Bug 885008] Re: Openjdk crashing Eclipse when changing from default workspace
Workaround: Change Workspace manually in config file
~home/.eclipse/org.eclipse.platform_3.7.0_155965261/configuration/.settings/org.eclipse.ui.ide.prefs
in my case to
RECENT_WORKSPACES=/home/[~home]/It/JavaWorkspace

Title:
Openjdk crashing Eclipse when changing from default workspace
Status in “openjdk-6” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
1. Ubuntu version 11.10 with KDE
2. openjdk-6-jdk:
Installed: 6b23~pre10-0ubuntu5
Candidate: 6b23~pre10-0ubuntu5
Eclipse version 3.7.0 sets the default workspace to
/home/<username>/workspace. If I want to change it at the start,
Eclipse crashes right away. If I use the default, Eclipse loads up
just fine, but if I want to change it afterwards it crashes again.
