I don't know what you mean by remove a font. Should I delete ttf files
in /usr/share/fonts/truetype/unfonts-core/. Or remove something from
one (or both) of those files:

/etc/fonts/conf.avail/90-fonts-unfonts-core.conf
/etc/fonts/conf.d/90-fonts-unfonts-core.conf
