If I open the site http://www.uk.map24.com/ and click on interactive in

see a text that the applet is loaded).

confirmed by myself on Ubuntu 10.04.

I am the original reporter and of course can confirm this too.

Thanks for pushing it upstream btw.. I was about to do it myself but I
got no password confirmation for my new account until I used the "Forgot
password" function.

Hello Matthias.

I tried to reproduce this but it works well. This is what I get when I run `java -version`:
java version "1.6.0_18"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.8) (fedora-38.b18.fc13-x86_64)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 14.0-b16, mixed mode)

I am running Firefox, version 3.6.3

I would like to know what browser you are using before I try installing
Ubuntu and trying to reproduce it again.

Thank you,
Denis.

Thanks for your response. It also happens with Firefox 3.6.3. But you
don't need to install Ubuntu, just use the Ubuntu 10.04 LiveCD. Even in
a vm it should work as long as there is enough memory.

java version "1.6.0_18"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.8) (6b18-1.8-0ubuntu1)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 14.0-b16, mixed mode)

Like I said, it is most likely the applet which has a bug.
