For reproducing this, can you tell us which version of openjdk-7 you're
on as well as which release of Ubuntu you're on?  (12.04, 12.10,
Precise, Quantal, etc.)

  Eclipse crashes on first run

Bug description:
  Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Download Eclipse 4.2 or 4.2.1 from http://www.eclipse.org/downloads
  2. Extract archive file
  3. Run eclipse executable from extracted eclipse directory
  4. type in /home/dan/workspace and select "remember and don't ask again"
  5. Eclipse looks like it loads, then crashes
  6. An error log is generated (attached)
