[Bug 1097078] Re: Eclipse crashes on first run
Notes:
Unable to reproduce on Quantal VM using latest kernel and most up to date openjdk-7-jdk.
Dan, one thing i should point out: The eclipse you're using isn't in the
repos. If I"m unable to reproduce, then its likely others won't be able
to reproduce this. Having said this, the eclipse you're running, since
it's not in the repositories, can't be fixed in Ubuntu, you'd have to
submit this information to Eclipse.
Also, you need to provide some more information, per my prior comments.
I'm marking this as "Incomplete" in the mean time.

Bug description:
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download Eclipse 4.2 or 4.2.1 from http://www.eclipse.org/downloads
2. Extract archive file
3. Run eclipse executable from extracted eclipse directory
4. type in /home/dan/workspace and select "remember and don't ask again"
5. Eclipse looks like it loads, then crashes
6. An error log is generated (attached)
