Title:
/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk → java-1.7.0-openjdk-amd64 symlink
confuses ca-certificates-java
Status in “ca-certificates-java” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Status in “java-common” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
I’m now seeing this error message on ca-certificates upgrades:
Updating certificates in /etc/ssl/certs... 0 added, 0 removed; done.
Running hooks in /etc/ca-certificates/update.d....
sed: can't read /etc/java-6-openjdk/security/nss.cfg: No such file or directory
E: /etc/ca-certificates/update.d/jks-keystore exited with code 2.
done.
/etc/ca-certificates/update.d/jks-keystore tests for the existence of
/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk/bin/java to detect whether to use openjdk
6, but the /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk → java-1.7.0-openjdk-amd64
symlink fools this test into concluding that openjdk 6 is installed
when it isn’t.
