[Bug 1196495] Re: Eclipse crashes without error-message
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1163501 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1163501
** Description changed:
Ubuntu 13.04 (GNOME-Release)
apt-cache policy openjdk-7-jdk says:
openjdk-7-jdk:
- Installed: 7u21-2.3.9-1ubuntu1
- Candidate: 7u21-2.3.9-1ubuntu1
- Version table:
- *** 7u21-2.3.9-1ubuntu1 0
- 500 http://at.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ raring/main amd64 Packages
- 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
+ Installed: 7u21-2.3.9-1ubuntu1
+ Candidate: 7u21-2.3.9-1ubuntu1
+ Version table:
+ *** 7u21-2.3.9-1ubuntu1 0
+ 500 http://at.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ raring/main amd64 Packages
+ 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
Unfortunatly my Eclipse started to crash today repeatedly and very
often. It simply crashes and I fail to see on how to reproduce it, since
it sometimes crashes, without even being the focused window.
It has been installed from outside sources (eclipse.org).
I use two Eclipses, both fail to work correctly (one that has a lot of plugins, one that is pretty much "untouched").
+
+ I installed GNOME 3.8 today from the official PPA and it seems that this
+ is a duplicate Bug Report since other users have been affected by a very
+ similar issue. I am 90% sure that this is a duplicate of #1163501.

Unfortunatly my Eclipse started to crash today repeatedly and very
often. It simply crashes and I fail to see on how to reproduce it, but
usually it happens when I'm scrolling.
It has been installed from outside sources (eclipse.org).
I use two Eclipses, both fail to work correctly (one that has the PDT plugin and another that's pretty much "stock").
I installed GNOME 3.8 today from the official PPA and it seems that
this is a duplicate Bug Report since other users have been affected by
