unfortunatly the workaround don't work fine for me (and I think for
others users too).

Eclipse seems more robust, but there are many crashes yet.

Is very difficult to debug this problem, as eclipse crash often without
any stack trace or logs..

Bug description:
  Using Ubuntu 12.04 updated kernel 3.3.0-030300-generic x86_64.
  To reproduce:
   - Do fresh install of eclipse
   - open eclipse
   - click on Workbench icon

  The following error occurs:
