Message #13032
[Bug 1777933] [NEW] openjdk-7 7u181-2.6.14-0ubuntu0.1 zerovm causes eclipse to crash
Public bug reported:
With the proposed openjdk-7 7u181-2.6.14-0ubuntu0.1 update, eclipse
crashes when starting up using the zero vm, as invoked by:
eclipse -vm /usr/lib/jvm/java-7-openjdk-
amd64/jre/lib/amd64/zero/libjvm.so
after the 'choose a workspace directory' dialog is answered. This
reliably occurs on amd64 and i386. I have not reproduced this on powerpc
or armhf, where zero is the default jvm.
Attached is the crash dump java generated.
** Affects: openjdk-7 (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
** Attachment added: "hs_err_pid15390.log"
