Title:
  make autopkgtests cross-test-friendly

Status in openjdk-lts package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
The openjdk-lts autopkgtests currently fail on i386 because they
  aren't cross-test-compatible. I'm attaching a patch that should fix
this, though I've been unable to test it locally because it requires
changes to the metadata of one of the binary packages from the source
(Multi-Arch: foreign) and cross-building is a whole other matter.
