I would change the help text slightly from,
  help="Specify relative Path where database should be located. E.g. ../openlp-data")
to something like:
  help="Relative path to the folder containing the data and config files, e.g. ../openlp-data")

Ensure it is sentence case as per http://wiki.openlp.org/Development:String_Standards

Also, rather than just comment out: 
   print 'Logging to:', filename 
could you move it to whereever it needs to be to print the correct logfile location?
