The theme is updated but the active slide is not reset you need to
change to the next slide for it to take effect.

Load song into service manager
Add song to live
Edit theme and change background.
Save
Select new slide and it changes.

Did you go to Live from the song plugin missing the servicemanager?

Bug description:
I have just eddited a text colour on a theme, and could not get openLP to update the display. Even changing to annother theme and back again did not work!
