All sounds fine to me, but just for the record, you're happy in this instance to break away from v1.2 functionality. I.e. not provide a means via the media manager to access audio tracks added directly to a song from the filesystem?
Note although I use backing tracks, I've never actually used the audio tab.
I've just checked with Derek (who added this to v1.2). He said he only added the tab so he could load all his backing tracks in one go (he has 100's), and then easily select them from the drop down list within the song editor. If however we treat it like Topics/Authors/Books then we could manage it through a Backing Tracks section in the Song Maintainance dialog.
Another option could be to have a tickbox in the song editor of "Also add this to Media" but I think this would be another over-complication.
