OK, so continuing with this on a fresh Kubuntu 10.04 install running the
latest from the dev repo, installing OpenLP, kubuntu-restricted-extras,
switching the backend from xine to gstreamer the performance is actually
worse than in Ubuntu. No preview, only audio when going live. Switching
back to xine does get a perfectly working preview.

Status in OpenLP - Worship Presentation Software: New

Bug description:
After updating from the dev repo in Ubuntu (Gnome) Video playback no longer functions for me. It had worked perfectly for the last couple of months I have tried this on two different machines that were functioning well before this. I am currently running openlp build 997.
